Got this great shot tonight of Gypsy I love the texture of brickwork and her shadow against it :)
Photography has become a great passion in my life. I like to capture photos of scenes we pass by everyday without ever noticing. We are all so busy with our hectic lives we miss what is right in front of us. This blog is a release for my crazy cat lady ways, based in Princes Avenue Hull vastly dominated by cats, I will update you on the cats of Princes Avenue, document via photography and include animals stories from around the world. This blog is dedicated to my cat Cyril

Moscow Cat Theatre
Hi
Saw this on Daily Mail - not really sure what to think about this!!
Are the cats enjoying it? Is it cruel?
How do they train them?
I know from my experience of cats I could not train them to do this.
Cats basically do what they want and certainly Rambo and Gypsy do not perform tricks nor could I teach them!

Gypsy uses one life
So at the beginning of January we had a big scare involving Gypsy.
After a lovely night chilling in front of the fire with rambo and gypsy I decided it was time for bed so headed to the bathroom to wash up. I did what I had to and headed to my bedroom, when I got to the landing I noticed gypsy looking very spooked and curled up. I did not know what was up with her because I thought she had been chilled in front of the fire.
I picked her up and noticed she was wet all on one side and there was blood on her neck. She cried and went under my bed. I ducked down to see her and she was very shaken, I managed to get her out from under the bed to the top. I checked her neck and the wound did not seem to be deep or flowing so I cleaned her up best I could and let her be, she really wanted to be left alone.
My first thought was that another cat had got her after a little while she jumped down from the bed and her back legs gave way. I panicked and checked to see if she was alright, I could not see any further wounds or feel broken bones so decided best thing was rest and see what morning brought. I did not check her too much as I was afraid of hurting her, but seeing nothing too serious or obvious I thought rest is the best thing.
Every morning Rambo and Gypsy are up and waiting to be fed before my alarm goes off, they wait in my room not patiently trying to scratch my feet and open the blind to let the sunlight in. This particular morning Rambo was waiting on the landing, I got up, fed Rambo but it was obvious gypsy was not there. I tried not to panic and to think positive, I found gypsy on the spare bed she was breathing but not as alert as she normally is plus she did not get up for food so I knew I had to take her to vets.
At the vets she was still the same not very alert and the vet said she was very poorly. I tried not to let emotions take over, I was still getting over Cyril so I just thought positive.
The vet said it looked like Gypsy had been attacked by a dog or fox,she had puncture wounds in her head and neck so it looks like the animal had gypsy by the head and ragged her about, that's why she was unsteady on her feet.
So Gypsy was on a drip all day and got cleared up, after numerous check up phone calls, a very worried upset owner was allowed to take her home.
I got her home and she went straight for her food bowl - this was an amazing sign she was feeling better, she ate a little then went to sleep in the hallway which is a new place for her. Rambo was really good with her, he checked her over and just kept her in his sight, he is a good big brother:)
Gypsy the next day was eating and looking much better! I took her to vets few days later and the vet was surprised how well she was doing!! she said that she is a very lucky cat and has defintly used one of her lives!!
I can not tell you how happy and relived I was!! She was kept in for a little while and now the cat flap is open and she is out and about again. She seems to be more aware of her surroundings which is good because before she had no fear!! A lesson well learnt!!
The photo below is of Gypsy when she first came home that night, she is a little dazed from the drugs! the vets at chanterlands vets were great and really had gypsy's wellbeing in mind all the way through I can not thank them enough!
