Can anyone help this cat in need?????????

PLEASE HELP!

My friend found a cat on Perth Street a few weeks ago. She was in quite a state and her skin was suffering. RSPCA could not help so Animal Welfare stepped up and she has been staying at the vets as there is no room at the shelter.

She is chipped but there has been no success contacting her owners, I suspect due to her condition she was abandoned.

She has been lucky so far as the vets have nearly put her down twice; she is being treated for dermatitis and ringworm.

Unfortunately my friend cannot give her home so we are desperate for someone to give her a home as if not she is likely to be put down

I do not have a photo yet but she is black and white and has obviously been loved as she is friendly and lets you tickle her tummy.

Can anyone help? Obviously due to her current condition she will need to be kept inside as ringworm is highly contagious and they maybe some future vet costs.

It would break my heart if due to no one being able to give her home and after all she has been through the end result is being put down.

UPDATE

I have just spoken to my friend to get more details, Animal Welfare originally told him to take her to vets then they would pick her up. However during her time at vets a load of kittens was dumped so they do not have any room for her now and now have not taken responsibility for her.

The vets cannot keep her that’s why she has been in danger of being put down because no one has taken responsibility for her. She has been treated for dermatitis and had a test yesterday to see if has ringworm (results take a week to come back so it is not confirmed).

My friend and their next-door neighbour have put money to pay for vet bills. Apparently next-door now have her but because of their grandchildren the poor little thing is outside in a makeshift shelter.

I think even if we could find a temporary home would be much better than this current situation.
